Hi. I'm Margaret, and Distinctive Cat Jewelry is my shop of cat jewelry. My fondness for the feline population began about twelve years ago, when Squirt, my tortoise shell calico cat, adopted me. We've been fast companions ever since; she lets me feed her, clean her litter box and pay the mortgage. Being especially independent, she sits on my lap when she wants to. She's an excellent alarm clock!
I've collected quite a lot of cat jewelry over the years, and I'm particularly pleased when I find something new, unique, and interesting, thus the store's name, Distinctive Cat Jewelry. It occurred to me that there are few places to view a variety of cat jewelry, thus the creation of the selection you find here. I hope you'll enjoy browsing our shop, and if you know of something else in cat jewelry that's unusual, I hope you'll let me know!
A little about myself: I have had a lot of different jobs (from secretarial to bookkeeping and on to innkeeping) and I've lived in Iowa, California, and Oregon. I have many interests, too. I love to golf in clement weather. I enjoy anything crafty, and cats are often my theme in crocheting, scrapbooking, and altering books (I like to combine those last two and make scrapbooks in altered books!). One of my most favorite pleasures is watercolor painting. A few of my favorite subjects are florals and CATS (surprise). I hope you'll enjoy seeing my cat paintings here and there throughout the shop.
